Local Travel and Leisure Life! ULTRAPOD ON SANIBEL
Wrap the Microphone with Noise Reducing Cloth
The primary thing I always deal with on a boat is windnoise, and I toss out all windnoise footage. I wrap my microphone to reduce the problem as much as possible. I use an Ultrapod II (mini tripod) and you can hold it against your chest when shooting and you get much less camera shake. Windnoise and Camera Shake...the two enemies!
Just let me know of ideas to help each other out...take care, Stuart

Photography Shop on Captiva Island Hey...How about a Captiva Island Beach kitty close-up photo with the ultra pod. See what you can do. Use the ultra pod to keep the shot nice and steady. We can open a little photography shop on Captiva, it is perfect for sunset weddings on the beach.
Love the Light Weight Monopod A tripod versus monopod, there is a difference in certain situations. As for what is more advantageous: the monopod is a lot easier to carry, when you hold it down to the side. It will just basically dangle. With a tripod a shoulder strap is often necessary.

Counter Weights with moving video footage Moving with a camera is just so difficult, as it just does not work well unless you have a counter weight. With a couple of pound tripod, you can do ok and the footage will hold up for youtube or low budget film.
