Skyway Bridge Community Park

The open and airy feeling of this community park and recreation area is terrific. Maximo is great for adults to relax by the water, with tons of room to play for families with children. Excellent kayaking venue. Has a big playground for kids and is plenty good for swimming near the shore.

Nice Park and no entrance fee
Nice but beach needs to be cleaned!!! The two boat ramps are a winner for sure. I love to watch the sailboats from the Eckerd College Boatyard.

Where to go fishing in Tampa Bay?
Only on the weekends does this park get a ton of people, which is a big part of the charm. Monday to Friday, you pretty much can have it to yourselves, or at least less than 30 people. Spread out, that is like not having hardly anyone here. Good for walking and fishing mainly.
