It is very enjoyable to tour the island on the perimeter using scooters or bicycle transportation. The southernmost point attraction is one of the many scenic waterfront locations that you can absorb on your tour. There's a few beach areas on this side of the island, as you had back to the North East. With scooters and bicycles, you just stop at anything that catches your eye along the way. The flexibility makes exploring Key West even more exciting and spontaneous.

90 miles from Cuba Coastline The most photographed icon in the city for sure, even more than Mallory Square. It is nice for a classic Kodak Moment, and there are a bunch of neat bars and restaurants on this side of the island. The beach bar by the little pier on South Street is fantastic.

Scooters let you see it all! When you buzz around on your scooter it is amazing how much ground you can cover in just a couple of hours. I would recommend that for anyone coming down here that has a few days to spend. Pick one day and at least have the scooter for say half a day or more depending on your budget. It is a blast!
