One of the things we found out during our Sanibel Vacation is that the individuals that you speak with at the Sanibel Island Visitors Center are volunteers. Yes, these guys are locals mostly and live or work right here on the island they love it here so much. We respect those who offer free the service to the City and Chamber of Commerce. Hats off to these great people. Thanks so much!

Try the West Wind Inn The gateway to the island starts with getting the correct information on the hotels. All of the places will negotiate in the off season, the best time for a deal or steal!

Tour it all on Your Bicycles This little beach town is growing up fast. We stayed for a week in Sanibel on this vacation and head plenty of zany and cultural activities to do. There's the movie shop, theater, and even a jazz music hall. We enjoyed touring Sportys Seahorse Shop and the cool surf shop. Pandoras Box is loaded with interesting art works of unknown origin.
