Everyone Loves Sanibel Fishing

You need to try a cast net to fully take advantage of the Sanibel fishing. If you are not proficient with a cast net, just go the easy route. Shrimp can be purchased from the bait shop on Periwinkle or the Sanibel Marina. Cast netting your own live bait is the best way to go and it will be much more beneficial to your fishing returns.

Fish Breeding is the Key
You get so much marine life here as compared to say Clearwater Beach. Most of the areas up the coast to the north are basically built out. Meaning there is less mangroves and natural shoreline for the fish to breed.

Pleasure Trips here in Sanibel
