The fishing here is excellent and you can pick up live bait just over the bridge on the way into the Sanibel Causeway Bridge area. Just pick the side where the wind is at your back and you can toss your cast way out into the deeper waters. We like to picnic and watch the watersports enthusiasts while we fish and play.

Touring the Sanibel main public beaches
This is our pick. An excellent beach park where you can be really active and kids will love it. You can park the car under a big florida shade tree. Since your car is right next to the waterfront, do bring all of your beach toys! Fishing is huge here too.

Ways to Reduce Sun Exposure
