Secret parks are around Tampa Bay
This place is fantastic and really not usually that busy. However, the boat ramp is another story and can get packed. But for walkers and bicycle people, parking is plentiful and almost all of it is in the shade.

How about a kayak trip?

We like the cool spots to take our kayaks. Exploring the shoreline in a kayak is so much better than walking around on the sidewalks. New kayaks are now under $300 and dropping. They can manufacture fiberglass boats so cheap these days and the boats are so light and easy to put on top of the car.
