Sanibel is the place for Watersports
I am going to stay up here this weekend. Captiva is nice. I want to do some shopping and some yolo watersports. Plus, it will be nice for paddling the kayak outside in the backcountry.

Sanibel Island Beach Parking

Only in Sanibel and Captiva are the Beaches this beautiful in Southwest Florida. You have two parking areas at Blindpass Beach, but they are not huge. People tend to come and go, so we have always gotten a metered parking spot. If you get boxed out on a prime beach day, try Bowman's Beach Park...about two miles back toward Sanibel, on the right heading east.
