Perfect for a long shoreline walk
You really can't go wrong with whatever beach you pick out. The water and the sand is perfect everywhere. People said Sarasota had the best beach-sand, but I do not think so. The shelling is not as good as Sanibel, for sure. There are all sorts of things to see that keep you occupied for your long fitness walks.

We recommend the Clam Pass Beach

After our trip, I would have to say the top beach zone for people to hit is Clam Pass. This nature park and public beach is really nice and one of the most popular (highly debatable true) beach access points. Another good one to mention is called Vanderbilt Beach. The thing about Clam Pass is the large coastal habitat and preserves here. Yes, just the way the beaches used to be!
