Try the Coquina Beach Park
On the boat ramp question, yes it is the Coquina Beach bayside boat ramps that you can use right there at beer can island. Some people call it Greer Island Park, but locals call it beer can island. It is part of Bradenton Beach, a little further south before the bridge.

BRADENTON BEACH

Only Parking is the Issue

Do check the event calendar as the beach officials now have ongoing activities and things to do here on the weekends. Lots of fun with the scenic nature make it special. This beach is really getting to be so popular. Parking spots are tougher to get these days.
