Ft. Desoto Park is a gigantic Pinellas County park, with many leisure activities available for your enjoyment. In addition to beautiful beaches, there's biking, fishing, canoeing, kayaking, boating, and picnicking. You won't run out of things to do here, and the ambiance is incredible. There are endless paths to bike at Ft. Desoto Park. You'll get a great workout at this park. The park is named for the fort located on the southern end of Mullet Key. It was built in 1898 during the Spanish-American War, but never saw action. |
