This island is in the middle of the park. Here you will find live animals, character greetings, attractions, shops, restaurants, entertainment, and of course, The Tree of Life. This is a gigantic tree in the middle of the island. It is a great celebration of nature here, with the Discovery Island trails. These are wonderful walking paths surrounding the Tree of Life and they are filled with lush vegetation and exotic creatures. Discovery Island also leads to all the other sections of Animal Kingdom.

	You can get souvenirs and mouse ears at the Island Mercantile store. They also have Pin Trading. Shopping for gifts is great fun here.
	Atta from "A Bug's Life" watches over all the splendid gifts to buy at a shop in Discovery Island. Be sure to get your mouse ears here. You will have fun wearing them in the park.
